The short version
Softcore Designs uses the information you choose to provide to answer custom requests, manage order requests, operate accounts, protect the site, and understand whether the storefront is working. The current storefront has no feature that sells personal information.
Information you submit
- A custom request includes your name, email address, item type, and request details. Phone, budget, timing, and an inspiration link are optional.
- A shop order request includes your name, email address, any note, and the pieces, quantities, and options in your bag. Submitting a request does not take payment.
- If account sign-in is enabled and you use it, the site stores the account, session, and authentication information needed to sign you in. Google sign-in and passkeys are available only when the studio has finished configuring them.
Storefront activity and device storage
Private storefront analytics can record events such as a page view, product view, bag addition, or submitted request, together with the page path, product identifier, referring site hostname, and a random per-tab session identifier. The application is configured to remove analytics events older than 90 days.
Your bag is stored in your browser so it can survive a refresh. A random identifier is stored for the current browser tab. Authentication may use cookies or session tokens when account features are enabled. You can clear browser storage through your browser settings.
Services that may process information
Cloudflare provides hosting, data storage, security, and—when configured—Turnstile spam protection. If you choose Google sign-in after it is enabled, Google processes that sign-in. If studio email delivery is connected, Resend carries the custom-request notification to the studio.
The site includes a Google AdSense account-ownership meta tag. It does not load Google AdSense ad-serving code, and the storefront, account, studio, success, and error states do not request Google ads.
How information is used and kept
Information is used to run the storefront, answer and manage requests, maintain accounts, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and keep business records. Order, custom-request, and account records are kept for as long as reasonably needed for those purposes, then may be deleted when they are no longer needed. Access to account and studio routes is restricted, and sensitive browser surfaces are marked private and no-store.
Your choices
You can browse without creating an account, avoid optional form fields, and clear locally stored bag and session data in your browser. To ask about information tied to an order, custom request, or account, email jasmine@softcoredesigns.com.
Updates
